Vouw Vilt
... hoe wordt dit Kimik Design gordijn gemaakt,
wat is het proces?
detail: ruim 1.500 meter wolvilt in stroken als een harmonica vouwend gestikt!
IVoor een huis dat gebouwd is met de nadruk op duurzaamheid & natuurlijke materialen
kunnen uitgesproken gordijnen niet ontbreken.
Deze zijn gemaakt van wollen, ongebleekt vilt,
met de hand gestikt in banen op elkaar waardoor er een harmonica-effect ontstaat
en het geheel als een mooi smal pakketje opvouwt naast het raam.
Ook voor de akoestiek is dit natuurlijk een ontzettend goede, mooie & flexibele oplossing.
Detail: Dit was circa 1.500 meter wolvilt in stroken als een harmonica vouwend gestikt!
Kimik ontwerpt een maakt originele gordijnen voor jouw ruimte.
De ontwerpen worden gemaakt in overleg,
met een originele twist die jouw gordijnen uniek maken.

...the making of this Kimik Design Curtain,
what's the process?
Detail: There was appoximately 1.500 meter wool felt used in this project!
For a house that’s built emphazising sustainability en natural materials the curtains shall of course go with that natural flow.
These are made of unbleached wool felt, carefully stitched in long panels so that the cutains folds and unfolds like a harmonica.
This was also a major improvement to the acoustics, in a flexible and estatic matter.
